Pune Police Arrest Criminal After Shootout In Paud, Exposes Murder Plan

Pune, 23rd April 2024: In a dramatic turn of events, a gunfight ensued between the police and a criminal on police record Navnath Nilesh Wadkar on Mutha Road in Paud. Wadkar allegedly fired a shot at the police, prompting them to retaliate with three shots in self-defence, ultimately leading to his apprehension by the crime branch following a cinematic chase. Police have also arrested his accomplice.
The altercation unfolded when the cops confronted Wadkar, who reportedly resisted arrest. In a daring move, Wadkar fired a single shot at the police, escalating the situation. Responding swiftly, the police discharged three shots, aiming to neutralize the threat posed by the armed suspect.
According to officials, another historysheeter Chocolate Sunya had killed Nilesh Wadkar. To take revenge, Navnath had planned to eliminate Sunya. However, the Crime Branch team learnt of his movement and he was asked to surrender. However, he challenged the cops and fired at them. The cops retaliated and nabbed him with his accomplice.
