Pune: Major Fire Breaks Out in Residential Area Near Delhi Public School In Mohammadwadi

Kondhwa, 6th February 2024: A fire has erupted on the top floor of a building in Pune’s, Mohammadwadi area, near Delhi Public School. The fire department has deployed 5 fire vehicles and high-rise firefighting equipment to the scene to tackle the blaze.

 

Fire brigade officials have stated that the fire is significant and has spread over a large area, posing a challenge to control. Residents are currently present in the building.

 

Additionally, a B.E. set van has also been dispatched to aid in the firefighting efforts.

 

 

As of now, further details regarding the cause of the fire and any potential injuries or casualties remain unclear.

Senior Police Inspector Santosh Sonawane, in-charge of Kondhwa police station, said, “All the residents have been evacuated. The fire brigade is engaged in dousing the fire.”

Authorities are working diligently to bring the situation under control and ensure the safety of the residents in the affected building. The fire department continues its efforts to contain and extinguish the flames on the top floor of the structure in Pune’s Kondhwa area.
