Pune: Major Fire Damages Furniture Godown Near Shreeji Lawns In Bibvewadi
Bibvewadi, 25th October 2021: A major fire erupted at a furniture godown near Shreeji Lawns on Gangadham Road today. The fire has been doused and no casualty has been reported.
According to the Pune fire brigade, the incident took place around 8.45 pm at the godown near Aai Mata Mandir. The fire was controlled by 10.16 pm. Nobody is injured or dead in the incident.
The godown spread over 5000 sq. ft. contained steel utensils, large steel racks and wooden utensils which were burnt.
A total of 14 fire fighting vehicles and 40 firemen were deployed to douse the fire. The cause of the fire is not yet ascertained, officials said.
