Pune: Malls, Restaurants To Remain Closed On Weekends, PMC Issues Revised Guidelines

Pune, 18th June 2021: As per the Coronavirus disease (COVID19) positivity rate in the last week, Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) today issued a revised lockdown order.

 

The order issued by PMC Commissioner Vikram Kumar will come into effect from today (June 18).

 

The new guidelines are as follows:

  • All essential shops are allowed to open on all days till 7 pm.
  • Non-essential shops like spas, salons, beauty parlours, wellness centres as well as malls will remain closed on Saturday and Sunday.
  • No dining in restaurants, hotels, bars and food courts on Saturday and Sunday. However, they will be allowed to give parcel/home delivery till 11 pm on weekends.
  • All shops related to agriculture including APMC markets will be open on all days.
 

These guidelines will be applicable in the Pune cantonment and Khadki cantonment areas also.
