Pune : Man Abducts Daughters To Extort Money From Mother-In-Law, Case Registered
Pune 31st August 2023: In a shocking incident reported in Wakad, the police have nabbed a man who abducted his own daughters to extort money from mother-in-law. The incident took place on Wednesday when the complainant himself lodged a missing complaint for his daughter with police.
The accused’s plan was revealed after the investigation during a technical analyis spotted him driving a vehicle that tppk away the girls. The CCTV footage revealed that the girls sat in a car and the complainant was driving it. Immidiately after this the police apprehended the accused and he confessed to the crime during the investigation.
The girls aged 14 and 12 years had gone to visit their maternal grand parents in Thergaon. The complainant who is a driver by profession had alleged that the girls had not returned home from there while his wife and two more daughters reached safe. The police officials traced the girls near Pune Municipal Corporation and handed them over to their mother.
