Pune Man Deceives Woman by Concealing Identity, Refuses to Marry After Child’s Birth
Pune, 30th March 2023: A case of fraud has been brought to light where a man deceived a woman by concealing his true identity and religion, and professing his love for her to lure her into a physical relationship with the promise of marriage.
The couple had a child out of wedlock, but the accused absconded after the child was born, refusing to marry the woman.
The Yerawada Police Station has registered a First Information Report (FIR) against the accused, Bablu Ismail Syed, who also goes by the name Raj Subhash Kamble. The incident occurred in the Netaji Nagar area of Yerwada between 2011 and the present day.
According to police, Bablu Syed became acquainted with the victim by falsely identifying himself as Raj Subhash Kamble. He won her trust by proposing marriage and later entered into a physical relationship with her. They had a daughter together, but after her birth, he refused to fulfill his promise to marry the woman and reportedly disappeared without providing any information about his whereabouts.
Police are further investigating the case.
