Pune: Man Dies After Car Falls Into Well
Shirur, 7th February 2023: A young man died after his car fell into a well on the Annapur-Shirur road.
Rahul Gopinath Pathade, a resident of Asegaon Road, Shevgaon, district Nagar has unfortunately died in Annapur on Shirur-Annapur road.
Pathade was driving a white car. Meanwhile, he lost control of the car. Due to this, the car fell into the roadside well and drowned.
Assistant Police Inspector Amol Panhalkar, driver Assistant Police Sub-Inspector Ganesh Deshmane rushed to the spot and pulled him out with the help of local citizens. But, he, unfortunately, died due to delayed help.
According to eyewitnesses, while the youth was going from Shirur to Malthan with his car, he again turned back from Yevle Matha and went back to Shirur.
Meanwhile, he lost control of the vehicle while overtaking the sugarcane tractor. After that, the car left the road and fell into a well that was fifteen feet long and had no safety fences.
