Pune: Man Dies After Speeding Ambulance Runs Over Him
Pune, 16th February 2023: A pedestrian died after a speeding ambulance ran over him. On Monday, the accident happened in the Narhe area at 12.30 p.m. The ambulance driver is the subject of a charge that has been filed with the police department on Sinhagad Road.
The deceased has been identified as 46-year-old Ambegaon Khurd resident, Seshrao Laxman Chavan. A complaint has been made by Ambegaon Khurd resident Kumar Alkunte (31).
The ambulance hit Chavan as he was crossing the street in Narhe, per the police, as it approached quickly from behind. Chavan died after suffering severe wounds. API Rahul Yadav is looking into the situation.
