Pune : Man Dies By Suicide Due to Harassment From Wife, Records Video Of Suicide In Mobile
Pune 16th August 2023: In a shocking incident reported in the city, a 63-year-old person has died by suicide following harassment by second wife over transferring a property on her name. The deceased identified as Vilas Lagad (63), a resident of Hadapsar also recorded a video while committing suicide and left a suicide note in his mobile phone which blames his wife for his death.
According to police, Lagad got married to the accused after his fist wife died. However, the marriage did not go well as they had clashes after few years of the marriage. The deceased also left home following their fight and had started living separately.
Lagad’s son has lodged a complaint with police in the matter and has alleged that the accused was harassing his father for money and was asking him to transfer the property in her name. A case in this regard has been registered at Hadapsar Police Station under section 306 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Further investigation in the matter is underway.
