Pune: Man Hacks Wife To Death After Argument

Pune, December 11, 2020: A 50-year-old man allegedly stabbed his wife to death in the Kothrud area of Pune on Thursday afternoon.

The deceased has been identified as Kirti Pote (43), who was a receptionist at a hospital near Kothrud depot and the accused has been identified as Ravikumar Pote (50), both residents of Kothrud.

According to Alankar police, the couple lived with their daughter at the Dahanukar colony, and they argued around 3:30 pm on Thursday. After that, Kirti came to her workplace where she was stabbed by her husband in the chest.

Kirti was critically injured and was admitted to a nearby private hospital where she was declared dead. Meanwhile, the accused has fled away and police have launched a search for him.
