Pune: Man Killed for Dating Accused’s Sister
Pune, 15th October 2024: A man was severely beaten to death for having a romantic relationship with a girl related to the accused. This incident occurred in the Dandekar Bridge area yesterday evening.
The deceased has been identified as Kaustubh Jaydeep Naik, 29, a resident of Sadashiv Peth. Pankaj Nangare, 31, a resident of the Dandekar Bridge area, has complained to the Parvati Police Station. A case has been registered against a group of individuals.
Kaustubh was involved with the accused’s sister and had allegedly threatened the accused with kidnapping her. For this reason, the accused summoned Kaustubh to the Dandekar Bridge area yesterday evening. There, Kaustubh was brutally beaten with punches and kicks by the accused and his accomplices. He was seriously injured and immediately admitted to the hospital, but he died before receiving treatment.
