Pune: Man Run Away With Thar Car Hired From Zoom Car company, Arrested From Gujarat Border

Pune 17th July 2023: The Pune City Police have arrested a person who ran away with a car hired from Zoom Car company. The accused was nabbed by the police team from Gujarat border while he was trying to flee from Maharashtra.

According to police, the incident took place on July 13 when the accused hired Thar Four By Four car from Zoom Car company. The officials of the company soon after realising that the car has been stolen lodged a complaint with police. Police team traced the accused through technical analysis and he was nabbed near Talasai, Palghar while he was trying to enter Gujarat.

The accused identified as Shailesh Kumar Hingu, a resident of Surat, Gujarat has been arrested by police in the case. A case in this regard has been registered at Vimantal Police Station under section 406 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Further investigation in the matter is underway.
