Pune: Man Strangled To death Over Minor Dispute In Deaddiction Center
Pune, 1st September 2022: A man was strangled to death with a towel due to a minor dispute at a de-addiction centre in the Dhayari area.
The deceased has been identified as Ajinkya Suresh Gulmire (35), a resident of Hanuman Galli, Sangola, Solapur.
Saurabh Ganesh Savle (21), a resident of Kishkindanagar, Kothrud has been detained.
Gulmire and Savale were admitted to the deaddiction centre run by an organization in the Laigude Industrial Estate area of Dhayari.
Two days ago, they argued for a minor reason. On Wednesday (August 31) morning, the two argued again.
Shailesh Sankhe, Senior Police Inspector of Sinhagad Police Station said, “Sawale strangled Gulmire with a towel. After the police got the information about this incident, Sawale was detained and a case was registered against him.”
