Pune: Man Tries To Break Open ATM At Two Places, Arrested By Police
Pune 16th July 2023: The Pimpri Chinchwad Police have booked a person for allegedly trying to break open ATM Machine at two places in the twin city. The accused identified as Mohammad Sarafraj Kalamuddin Ansari (26) a resident of Rohtas, Bihar has been arrested by police in the case.
According to police, the accused tried to break open ATM machine of Bank of Maharashtra in Chakan at around 1:30 am on Saturday and after failing to break it open he tried to break another ATM machine of Indian Overseas Bank in the same area at around 2:15 am. In both attempts he failed to steal cash.
However, the alert bank administration informed about the attempt to police after which he was arrested and two seperate cases were registered at Chakan Police Station in the matter. Further investigation in the matter is underway.
