Pune: Managing Director Booked For Not Depositing Employees PF Money

Koregaon Park, 9th December 2022: The Koregaon Park Police station has filed a complaint against a company’s managing director for failing to deposit the Employee Provident Fund (PF) of Rs 16.69 lakh into the account even though it was deducted from the employee’s salary.

 

The said complaint was filed by Rahul Kokate (50), a resident of Koregaon Park.

 

FIR states that an inspector from the Pune PF office learnt about the irregularities while inspecting the records. In this case, police have booked two people so far.

 

Police have invoked Section 406 (Criminal Breach of Trust) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) against the accused. Inspector Mahesh Valal investigates the case further.
