Pune: Manish Anand Rallies in Aundh and Bopodi, Vows to Improve Living Conditions in Slum Areas
Pune, 13th November 2024: Independent candidate from Chhatrapati Shivaji Nagar Assembly constituency Manish Anand took out a padyatra rally in Indira Vasahat and Kasturba Vasahat, Aundh on Monday (11th November), followed by a massive rally from Manaji Baug to Chhajed Petrol Pump in Bopodi on Tuesday morning (12th November).
Indira Vasahat and Kasturba Vasahat are primarily slum areas, where citizens face many civic problems due to inadequate infrastructure and low living standards. Highlighting these problems, Manish Anand said that he will prioritize planned redevelopment to positively impact the lives of slum dwellers and enhance the quality of urban life.
He stated that a well-implemented redevelopment plan will not only solve problems such as sanitation, water supply, and electricity but also provide better housing and a more stable environment for residents.
“Redevelopment does not only mean rebuilding infrastructure, but it is building a better future for our people,” he added. Speaking in Bopodi, he said his focus will also be on solving traffic jams and enhancing infrastructure.
