Pune: Manisha Royals Dominates Parmar All Stars in Poona Club Snooker Clash
Pune, 11th September 2023: In a thrilling opening day of the second edition of the Poona Club Billiards and Snooker League (PCBSL) held at the Poona Club Snooker Hall in Pune, RS Cannons narrowly secured a 3-2 victory over Tornadoes in a Group A clash.
Meanwhile, in another Group A showdown, Manisha Royals dominated with a 4-1 win against Parmar All Stars. In Group B, Rack Raiders replicated the 4-1 scoreline by defeating Ball Breakers in their match.
The tournament’s inauguration saw Mr. Sunil Handa, President of Poona Club Ltd, along with notable figures like Mr. Rajan Khivansara, Director of Manisha Construction, and the President of BSAM and ex-President of BSFI, among others, in attendance.

Manisha Royals outplayed Parmar All Stars 4-1:
15 Red Handicap Snooker: Rohington Irani faced a setback against Siddharth Mody, losing 80-108.
15 Red Handicap Snooker Doubles: Minoo Karkaria and Kunal Vaswani combined effectively to defeat Kapil Sareen and Udit Sanghvi with a score of 95-42.
Handicap Billiard 200Pts: RK Sharma triumphed over Dashmesh Kalra with a score of 200-178.
6Red Handicap Snooker: Angad Sahaney narrowly edged out Navin Kochher 36-39.
Blue Shot: RK Sharma emerged victorious against Siddharth Mody with a final score of 4-3.
RS Cannons battled hard to beat Tornadoes 3-2:
In the 15 Red Handicap Snooker, Ricky Rajpal defeated Anil Kakde with a score of 88-58.
The 15 Red Handicap Snooker Doubles saw Madhav Kshirsagar and Nishant Mehta outclass Vishal Arora and Farroukh Mody with a score of 115-68.
In the Handicap Billiard 200Pts, Anand Kering overcame Yohan Thadaney with a score of 200-154.
However, in a closely contested 6Red Handicap Snooker match, Pranay Malgaonkar lost to Akaksh Dalwani 65-55, 46-58, 32-46.
The Blue Shot event witnessed Madhav Kshirsagar falling short against Farroukh Mody with a final score of 3-4.

Ramesh Kering showcased his skills in the Handicap Billiard 200Pts, winning against Tony Shetty with a score of 200-179.
Ayan Khan put up a valiant fight but ultimately lost to Prashant Rajgharia in the 6Red Handicap Snooker match with scores of 33-42, 46-33, 35-74.
Muneez Poonawalla emerged victorious in the Blue Shot event against Ankit Damle with a final score of 4-3.
