Pune: Many Local Trains To Be Short Terminated on Lonavala–Malavali Section for Road Over Bridge Construction

Lonavala, 17th April 2025: Central Railway will operate special traffic and power blocks for the launching of four steel girders as part of the construction of a Road Over Bridge (ROB) at Level Crossing No. 32 (Km 128/16-17) on the Lonavala–Malavali section.
The blocks will be in effect from April 18 to April 20, 2025, on the Up and Down lines between Malavali and Lonavala. Details of the blocks and their impact on train operations are as follows:
Block Schedule and Train Repercussions
Block 1: Friday, April 18, 2025 | 13:05 hrs to 16:05 hrs (3 hours)
Train Regulation:
Train No. 22159 CSMT–Chennai Express will be regulated at Lonavala until 16:05 hrs.
EMU Short Termination / Origination:
Train No. 99814 Pune–Lonavala EMU (Departs Pune at 11:17 hrs) and Train No. 99816 Shivajinagar–Lonavala EMU (Departs Shivajinagar at 12:05 hrs) will be short-terminated at Malavali.
Train No. 99813 Lonavala–Pune EMU (Departs Lonavala at 14:50 hrs) and Train No. 99815 Lonavala–Shivajinagar EMU (Departs Lonavala at 15:30 hrs) will short-originate from Malavali.
Block 2: Saturday, April 19, 2025 | 13:05 hrs to 14:35 hrs (1.5 hours)
EMU Short Termination / Origination:
Train No. 99816 Shivajinagar–Lonavala EMU (Departs Shivajinagar at 14:50 hrs) will be short-terminated at Malavali.
Train No. 99813 Lonavala–Pune EMU (Departs Lonavala at 14:50 hrs) will short-originate from Malavali.
Block 3: Sunday, April 20, 2025 | 13:05 hrs to 15:05 hrs (2 hours)
EMU Short Termination / Origination:
Train No. 99816 Shivajinagar–Lonavala EMU (Departs Shivajinagar at 14:50 hrs) will be short-terminated at Malavali.
Train No. 99813 Lonavala–Pune EMU (Departs Lonavala at 14:50 hrs) will short-originate from Malavali.
