Pune: Maratha Kranti Morcha Calls For Pimpri-Chinchwad City Bandh On Saturday
Pimpri, 8th September 2023: The Maratha Kranti Morcha has called a Pimpri-Chinchwad city bandh on Saturday (9th September) to protest against the lathi charge by the police on the protestors who were agitating for Maratha reservation at Antarwali Sarati in Jalna district. This shut-down has been supported by various political parties and hundreds of organizations in the city.
Tomorrow, on Saturday, at 10 am, Mahamorcha will pay homage to the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in Pimparigaon. The procession will follow the route through Deluxe Chowk and Main Market Pimpri.
Progressing towards Pimpri, the march will culminate at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Chowk with a protest meeting, gathering all coordinators of the Maratha Kranti Morcha, to voice their dissent against the Jalna incident while saluting the statue of Babasaheb Ambedkar.
Many political and social organizations have given public support.
