Pune: March-April Brings Extended Holidays For School Students; Parents Advised To Plan Vacations Accordingly

Pune, 28th February 2025: With a string of festivals and scheduled school holidays, students in Pune can look forward to an extended break in March and April. Parents are advised to plan family vacations accordingly, as multiple holidays will offer ample opportunities for travel and relaxation.
March will see several public holidays, starting with Holi on 13th March, followed by Dhuli Vandana on 14th March, there is a Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti on 17th March as per the Marathi calendar. Toward the end of the month, back-to-back holidays for Gudi Padwa (30th March) and Ramadan Eid (31st March) will give students an extended break. Additionally, many schools have Saturday holidays, adding to the long weekends.
April continues the holiday streak with Ram Navami on 6th April, Mahavir Jayanti on 10th April, and Good Friday on 18th April. Combined with the usual Sunday breaks, these holidays provide students with much-needed time off before the start of the new academic session.
