Pune: Marriage Hall Owners Booked For Not Ensuring Covid Rules At Wedding Ceremony

Pune, 18th January 2022: A case has been registered against the organiser of the wedding and the owner of the marriage hall for not ensuring Covid appropriate rules in the marriage ceremony at Lasurne (Tal. Indapur).

Walchandnagar police station (Pune rural police) has registered a case against Chandrakant Katyappa Ghorpade (45), resident of Vaidwadi Lasurne, and Vetal Dhondiba Kare (65), resident of Lasurne.

According to police, a marriage ceremony was organized on Sunday (16th January) at Nilkantheshwar marriage hall in Lasurne village. The organizers gathered a huge crowd of citizens at the wedding ceremony creating a threat to the health of all.
