Massive Water Loss As PCMC Pipeline Breaks In Pimpri Chinchwad

Akurdi, 21 January 2025: A pipeline under the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), responsible for supplying water to local residents, burst earlier today, resulting in the wastage of lakhs of liters of water. The incident took place at Subhash Pandharkar Nagar, along the road connecting Chinchwad Railway Station and Akurdi Railway Station. The overflowing water created chaos as it flooded nearby homes and, according to a local resident, remained unattended for over 1.5 hours.
