Pune: Medha Foundation’s ‘Aaya Sukhmaya Vasant’ Mesmerizes Audience
Pune, March 13, 2021: Former Assistant Director of Akashwani Pune & the founder of ‘Medha Foundation’ Dr Sunil Deodhar recently presented a program ‘Aaya Sukhmaya Vasant’ at Yashwantrao Chavhan Natyagryha, Kothrud, following safety guidelines for the prevention of Coronavirus disease (COVID19).
As this was the inaugural program of the ‘Medha Foundation’, many dignitaries from the field of Art & Culture were honoured. Renowned dancer Manishatai Sathe & famous tabla player Arvind Kumar Azad were honoured by former MLA Mrs Medha Kulkarni. Among the presenters, were former President of Maharashtra state Hindi Sahitya Academy & famous writer Dr Damodar Khadse & former MLA Ulhas Dada Pawar. The memento was given to the dignitaries. Mrs Manju Pendharkar deciphered in detail about Medha Foundation, while Mrs Dipti Pethe conducted the pageant. The importance of this foundation was highlighted by the honourable guests.
The program ‘Aaya Phir Sukhmaya Vasant ‘ was presented, after the opening speeches, in which songs composed by different poets & poetesses such as Mahadevi Verma, Suryakant Tripathi Nirala, Nirmalchand Nirmal & Dr Deodhar were sung. All these new songs were concocted by a young composer, Rahul Srivastav & were sung by artists like Rajesh Datar, Deepshikha, Vikas Bhave & Gayatri Sapre Dhavale. Amit Joshi played percussionist and Rohit Kulkarni played synthesiser. The program began with the song ‘Dheere Dheere Utar Kshitij Se Aa Vasant Rajani’ composed by Dr Mahadevi Verma.
The audience was enthralled to listen to the 10 songs presented there. The program was conducted by none other than Dr Sunil Deodhar himself who made the audience enjoy every bit of the program. The program was streamed live on Facebook by Dr Sandeep Ratan. In the end, Dr Deodhar thanked everyone for their support & backing for this foundation.
