Pune: Meena Bazaar, An Exhibition Promoting Businesses And Brands With Engaging Activities At Fakhri Hills

Pune, 5th February, 2024: Meena Bazaar, an exhibition organised by the Red Carpet Events, supporting all kinds of businesses and aiming to give a platform for brands to expand their reach, was an event for the Dawoodi Bohra community. It was an exhibition that provided a one-stop-shop experience and was filled with fun, shopping, food, games, entertainment and business opportunities. The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) Pune city president’s wife, Aarti Sainath Babar inaugurated the exhibition at Fakhri Hills.

The inauguration ceremony commenced with a ribbon-cutting ceremony conducted by Aarti Babar, accompanied by dignitaries, artisans, and curators. Mansoor Madraswala an organising partner said, “Aarti Babar’s association with the exhibition not only enhanced its credibility but also empowered these budding artists, offering them an opportunity to connect with potential buyers and patrons.” Aziz Bohari, a coordinator also said,”The exhibition showcased a diverse range of products, from clothing, food, accesories, jewellery, to FMCG products, and automobile dealers and builders showcasing their businesses.”

Insiyah Bohari, a member of the organising team Red Carpet Events said, “By purchasing these unique and handmade products, visitors not only supported small businesses but also contributed to the economic empowerment of women, who are often the driving force behind these enterprises. At Meena Bazaar, we aimed to promote and market brands, ensuring that they have a successful day of sales and reach.” Additionally, there were free activities for everyone including horse riding and fun games along with free BMI health check-ups camps too.

Durriya Madraswala, a member of the Red Carpet Events said, “With more than 100 brands participating in various genres, Meena Bazaar provided the perfect platform for exhibitors to receive maximum benefits and recognition.”

Mohammed Dohadwala, Millenium reality, channel partner with Provident developers said, “We got an opportunity to promote our businessess and engage with the audience. There were also a lot of footfalls and people with varied ages and interests attending the exhibition.”

Zahra Morbiwala, owner of Dulhal Jewellers said, “I’ve come from Mumbai to showcase my collection and it’s been a good day of sales. The response I’ve received is amazing.”

Zainab Hamid, a media partner said, “Visitors expressed their delight at the ample variety of products available, finding everything they needed and more. Local artisans and entrepreneurs received much-needed exposure and recognition, while visitors had the opportunity to discover unique and authentic products they would not find elsewhere.”

Insiyah Bhanpurawala, founder of Oh sugar home bakery said, “This event has given me a platform and helped me develop a reach for my home bakery buisness.”

In addition to business opportunities, Meena Bazaar was also a socializing event where visitors came with their families and enjoyed a day filled with shopping, entertainment, and delicious food.
