Pune: Meena Bazaar Exhibition Celebrates Community And Entrepreneurship

Pune, 2nd October, 2024: The Meena Bazaar, an engaging exhibition was organized by Red Carpet Events which brought together local entrepreneurs and community members from all over India. Attracting over 3,000 visitors, this exhibition was held at Fakhri Hills in Kondhwa. The event showcased more than 100 brands, from small home businesses to established organizations, creating a vibrant marketplace for all ages.
This expo was inaugurated by esteemed guests, Mulla Yusuf Shk Badruddin Darbar and Sainath Babar, former Corporator. During the inauguration, Babar said, “This exhibition is an excellent platform for local entrepreneurs, and I’m very happy to see such a diverse turnout.”
Entrepreneurs from Pune, Mumbai, Indore, Surat, Secunderabad, Nashik, and Nagpur participated, offering a wide array of products that appealed to all ages. Many women-led businesses also reported significant growth in customer engagement. ‘’The exhibition lived up to its promise of offering everything for everyone under one roof. The feedback we’ve received has been incredibly positive. Families loved the shopping options, the games, and the food was a hit with everyone,’’ said Insiyah Bohari, head of the marketing team.
Visitors were thrilled with the variety offered, which included handmade crafts, artisanal foods, fashion items, and home decor. In addition to shopping, the exhibition offered free health checkups and horse riding, making it a family-friendly event. Durriya Madrasawala the management team head said, ‘’We wanted to create an inclusive space where families could enjoy themselves while supporting local businesses. People not only shopped and ate but also got to know local brands better. It was a great opportunity for vendors to engage with the community and grow their customer base.”
HP Jewellers, title sponsor and Onyx 52 co-sponsor of the event reported, “The exhibition has been a great success and we are dedicated to supporting local initiatives and are looking forward to continuing our commitment and excellence in the field.”
Additionally, there were gold and silver coins given to winners that were picked through a lucky draw every hour sponsored by HP Jewellers. The event was also covered by influencers like Bohra Shoutouts and Itsmexainab.
The organizers, Insiyah Bohari, Durriya Madraswala, Mansoor Madraswala, and Aziz Bohari were instrumental in the success of the event. “It took a lot of teamwork and dedication to bring this together. Seeing the turnout and the joy on people’s faces makes it all worthwhile,’’ said Mansoor Madrasawala, organizer.
As the day concluded, attendees left with bags full of unique finds and a renewed sense of community spirit. In the words of a satisfied visitor, “This is what our community needs, opportunities to connect, celebrate, and support each other.”
