Pune Metro Revises Entry, Exit Arrangements at Select Stations for Anant Chaturdashi

Pune, 24th September 2026: Pune Metro has announced revised entry and exit arrangements at select metro stations ahead of Anant Chaturdashi on Friday, September 25, in view of the expected surge in passenger traffic during Ganesh Visarjan processions.

The changes have been introduced to manage crowds and ensure safer and smoother movement of passengers. The revised arrangements will remain in effect only on September 25, with normal entry and exit arrangements set to resume from Saturday, September 26.

Station-wise Entry and Exit Arrangements

PCMC Metro Station: Entry through Gate Nos. 1 and 4 on the Finolex Chowk side; exit through Gate Nos. 2 and 3 on the PCMC Bhavan side.

Deccan Gymkhana Metro Station: Entry through Gate No. 1 on the Vanaz side; exit through Gate Nos. 2 and 3 on the Ramwadi side.

Chhatrapati Sambhaji Udyan Metro Station: Entry through Gate Nos. 1, 3 and 4 on the Vanaz side; exit through Gate No. 2 on the Ramwadi side.

SNDT Metro Station: Entry through Gate Nos. 1 and 4 on the Vanaz side; exit through Gate No. 2 on the Ramwadi side.

Garware College Metro Station: Entry through Gate Nos. 1 and 4 on the Vanaz side; exit through Gate No. 3 on the Ramwadi side.

PMC Metro Station: Entry through Gate No. 3 on the Ramwadi side; exit through Gate No. 1 on the Vanaz side.

Pune Metro authorities have appealed to passengers to take note of the revised arrangements and cooperate with Metro staff while travelling on Anant Chaturdashi.

Pune Metro to Run Continuously for 41 Hours

As part of the special arrangements for Anant Chaturdashi, Pune Metro services will operate continuously for 41 hours to facilitate the movement of devotees and passengers during the Ganesh Visarjan celebrations.

At Mahatma Phule Mandai Metro Station, barricading has been in place since the beginning of the Ganesh festival due to the expected crowd. The existing arrangements at the station will continue until the barricades are removed.

Authorities have urged passengers to plan their journeys accordingly and follow instructions issued at Metro stations during the festival.
