The situation is such that the power supply of Pune Metro is provided by Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Limited (MSETCL) through a 132 kV substation. According to information provided by senior officials of MSETCL, on Monday evening, technical issues in the power distribution system were being addressed at the Range Hills Extra High Voltage 132 kV substation. However, due to the technical glitch in the internal power distribution of the Metro, the metro service was disrupted for 20 minutes. It’s important to note that there is no connection between MSEDCL and MSETCL regarding this incident. The disruption in the power supply to the Metro was solely due to technical issues within the Metro’s internal power distribution system.
