Pune: Two Arrested For Allegedly Raising Pro Pakistan Slogans In Kondhwa

Kondhwa 16th August 2023: The Pune City Police have arrested two people from Kondhwa for allegedly raising ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ slogans on Monday. The issue came to light after local residents who allegedly heard the slogans reported it to the police.

Two people identified as Toukir Bintade, a security guard working at a construction site and Akbar Nadaf, en employee of a bakery in the area have been taken into custody by police in the matter. According to police, the information passed on to them by some local residents about Pro Pakistan Slogans being raised an under construction school building in the Laxminagar area of Kondhwa.

The police team that reached the spot nabbed the two accused in the matter and a case in this regard was registered at Kondhwa police station under sections 153 and 153 (a) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Further investigation in the matter is underway.
