Pune Metro To Soon Start Running Trains From 6 am Instead Of 7 am

Pune 13th August 2023: A day after Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar travelled in the Pune Metro between Ruby Hall Clinic and Vanaz Metro Stations, the Metro officials have said that that they are preparing to start the train operation from 6 am instead of 7 am. Ajit Pawar who is known to start his work early interacted with the commuters during his journey on Saturday.

 

Speaking to reporters after the train ride Pawar said, the commuters are demanding to start the train service from 6 am so that they can reach their destination on time. The Metro officials should take appropriate steps to strengthen the service.

 

Metro officials also said that the demand has been rising to start the service from 6 am and they are working on to start it soon. A study was already conducted by the Pune Metro on this. Currently the metro trains operate between 7 am and 10 pm. The officials said that many office-goers who have to catch their express trains from railway station and students whose college starts early are demanding the early morning train so that they can reach their destination in time.

 

After the inauguration of extended routes, the Metro is now running services on Pimpri Chinchwad to Civil Court and Ruby Hall Clinic to Vanaz via Civil Court Metro Station. According to metro officials, the passenger response has been increased after the inauguration of two extended routes.
