Pune: Mixed results for PYC teams S P Gosavi Memorial Inter Club Tennis Championship 2022
Pune, 9th April 2022: PYC 4 edged out Solaris Gogetters 17-16 in the opening match of the SP Gosavi Memorial Inter club Tennis Championships organized by the PYC Hindu Gymkhana and the Pune Metropolitan District Tennis Association(PMDTA) on the PYC Hindu Gymkhana Tennis courts
Sangram Patil , Sanjay Bothara, Rohan Jamenis won matches for the PYC 4 team Amol Gaikwad , Mahendra Godbole , Shiv Jawdekar , Santosh Dalvi won their ties for the Solaris Go getters . In another league match Tennis Nuts outplayed PYC 3 24-03 in their opening tie .
The tournament was inaugurated at the hands of Mr. Kumar Tamhane, President, PYC, Mr. Sarang Lagu, Secretary, PYC, Mr. Abhishek Tamhane, Tennis Secretary, PYC, Mr. Sunder Iyer, Jt. Secretary, AITA, Mr. O. P. Gupta, Principal Secretary (Expenditure) in the Finance Department, Govt. of Maharashtra, Mr. Sanjay Khandare, Chairman & Managing Director, Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Limited, Mr. Prashant Sutar and Mr. Himanshu Gosavi, son of Late. Mr. S.P. Gosavi. Mr. Kishore Patil, Mr. Nandan Bal and members of the Gosavi Family were present on the occasion.
