Pune: MLA Bapusaheb Pathare Reviews Ongoing and Pending Civic Works in Lohgaon–Wagholi Area

Lohgaon, 12th February 2026: MLA Bapusaheb Pathare conducted an inspection visit to review ongoing and pending development works in the Lohgaon and Wagholi areas. The visit was carried out in the presence of Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) officials and corporators from Ward No. 03.
During the inspection, Pathare assessed the status of various infrastructure projects and issued directions to the concerned departments for immediate action where required.
At the Lohgaon crematorium, he took note of the poor condition of facilities and instructed officials to install a proper entrance gate, appoint a watchman with a cabin, repair toilets, and ensure regular cleanliness of the premises.
On the Lohgaon–Wagholi road near Pankaj Aasman Society, he directed authorities to immediately address traffic disruptions caused by ongoing excavation work. Officials were also instructed to urgently repair a damaged drainage line in the area.
In Sant Nagar, directions were issued to complete road and pipeline works within the stipulated timeline. The MLA emphasised the need for widening and resurfacing of key roads, including Nirgudi Road, Wadgaonsheri Road, the 80-feet Dhanori–Lohgaon–Wagholi Road, and D. Y. Patil Road.
Pathare also called for immediate measures to improve the deteriorating condition of major roads in Lohgaon.
The inspection was attended by Corporator Aishwarya Pathare, Dr. Shreyas Khandve, Ramdas Dabhade and Anil Satav, along with PMC Road Department Superintendent Engineer Ashish Jadhav, Executive Engineer Sanjay Dharav, Deputy Engineer Pournima Gaikwad, Prashant More, Junior Engineer Sarang Devre, and Praful Bhatkar from the Building Department, among other officials.
Speaking during the visit, MLA Pathare said efforts would continue in coordination with the administration to strengthen and maintain basic civic infrastructure in the Lohgaon–Wagholi area.
