Pune: MLA Sunil Shelke Aggressive Against Illegal Businesses; Organises March To Kamshet Police Station

Kamshet, 21st August 2022: NCP MLA Sunil Shelke took to the streets against illegal business in Pune’s Kamshet area. Hundreds of citizens had gathered in front of Kamshet Police Station.

By taking out a strike march, he warned the police in Kamshet; while questioning the role of the Pune Rural Police, he said that the life of the young generation is being ruined due to illegal liquor. Also, instead of getting up in the morning to exercise, the young generation is looking for where to get alcohol, he said.

 

Meanwhile, the Kamshet police assured MLA Shelke in front of the citizens that they will take action against the illegal liquor business within an hour. The MLA and police came face to face this time and the police appealed to the citizens that if anything like this is found within the limits of Kamshet police station, it should be informed to the police immediately, and action will be taken.

MLA Shelke said, “Illegal businesses are spoiling the youth. Irrespective of who is in power, the people have been telling the administration for one and a half years that they should stop the business of illegal liquor dens and ganja in villages. Liquor at Rs 20 is ruining the lives of the young generation.”
