Car Falls Into 200 Feet-Deep Gorge In Tamhini Ghat, Three Persons Dead
Pune, 21st August 2022: A car accident occurred at Tamhini Ghat on the Mangaon-Pune route and the accident car fell into a 200 feet deep gorge. In this, three people died on the spot, while three people were seriously injured in the incident which took place on Saturday (August 20) evening.
All three deceased passengers are from the Washim district. It is reported that the injured are undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Mangaon.
According to the police, a few youths from Washim district had gone for Konkan tourism. On the way back, the car met with an accident at Tamhini Ghat on the Mangaon-Pune route. The car fell into a ravine 200 feet deep. The car was crushed in this accident.
Rishabh Chavan, Saurabh Hinge, and Krishna Rathod died on the spot in this accident, all the deceased are from the Washim district. Preliminary information is that Roshan Gade, Praveen Sarakte and Roshan Chavan are seriously injured and it is reported that they are undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Mangaon.
