Vadgaon Maval, 6th April 2023: MLA Sunil Shelke instructed officials from the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co Ltd (MSEDCL) that maintenance work should be completed before the monsoon to ensure an uninterrupted power supply.

Executive Engineer Sandeep Darwade, Deputy Executive Engineer Sandeep Daramwar, Vishnu Pawar, Vivek Suryavanshi, Rajendra Gore, Sagar Bodke, and others were present at the meeting held at the Government Rest House Vadgaon Maval with MSEDCL officials to review various works related to power distribution.

During the meeting, MLA Shelke ordered that works sanctioned under DPC should be started immediately. Citizens have lodged complaints that electricity is being supplied at low pressure in many villages of the taluka. Keeping this in mind, power supply should be made smooth.

He further stated that low-capacity transformers, burnt distribution boxes, dilapidated electric poles, and electric wires should be replaced to prevent common citizens from facing problems related to distribution. Tribal and Katkari settlements in the taluka are still living without electricity in some places, and efforts should be made to provide electricity to these areas.

MLA Shelke suggested that maintenance work should be completed before the monsoon to ensure an uninterrupted power supply.
