Pune: MNS Leaders Vasant More, Sainath Babar Among 125 Booked For Protest Over Water Issues

Shivajinagar, 18th March 2022: A case has been registered against 125 activists, including Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) group leader Vasant More, at Shivajinagar police station on charges of illegal agitation to resolve the water issue.

Ashok Rajaram Bankar (59) has lodged a complaint with the Pune city police.

According to police, on March 14 evening an agitation was organized on the third floor of the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) on behalf of MNS to solve the water problem in Ward No. 47 of Kondhwa Budruk. Activists were told by security guards to stop at the entrance of the municipal building. However, they entered and protested in the PMC headquarters.
