Pune: Mobile Tower Equipment Worth Rs 90K Stolen, Case Registered

Pune 25th August 2023: The Pimpri Chinchwad Police have booked an unidentified person for allegedly stealing mobile tower equipment of Vodafone-Idea company located in Charholi area. An employee of ITC Telecom Infrastructure Private Limited, a company responsible for installing and maintaining mobile towers, has lodged a complaint with police in the matter.

According to the complaint registered with police, the company has installed a mobile tower near Sai Mandir in the Charholi area. The company employee found a SBAND 4G Card and SBAND 2G Card of Vodafone-Idea company worth around Rs 90,000 missing from the tower on August 19.

A case in this regard has been registered at Dighi Police Station under section 379 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Further investigation in the matter is underway.
