Pune: Modi Government Is Boosting Confidence Of Minority Communities – NCM Chairman Iqbal Singh Lalpura

Pune, 17th April 2023: Iqbal Singh Lalpura, the chairman of the National Commission for Minorities, today spoke about the progress of minority communities in India and their support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Lalpura stated that minorities are progressing in India, and incidents of discrimination are negligible compared to the rest of the world. He further emphasized that if such incidents do occur, the Commission takes immediate notice of them. Lalpura also highlighted the importance of serving society rather than focusing on politics.

In an effort to promote dialogue and unity, a Roja Iftar and dialogue program were organized at Imamwada in Pune Camp. The event was attended by many people from Muslim, Jewish, Parsi, Iranian, and Christian communities. Participants broke their fast together.

On this occasion, Lalpura handed over a letter to Bharatiya Janata Party State Spokesperson Ali Daruwala appointing him as the National Adviser of the National Commission for Minorities.

Representatives of the minority community, including Sharmila Oswal, Rajesh Pande, Solomon Sofar, Daniel Penkar, Charanjit Singh Sahni, Maulana Zaidi, Nitin Sontakke, Ajay Khedekar, and Deepak Nagpure, were present at the event.

Lalpura noted that the progress of the minority community is the progress of the country and praised the government led by Prime Minister Modi for providing confidence to the minority communities in achieving progress.

Earlier in the day, Lalpura met with many dignitaries from the minority community, including PA Inamdar, Parvez Grant, Feroze Padamji, Solomon Sofar, and Daniel Penkar. He also discussed matters with government officials.

During the event, BJP General Secretary Rajesh Pande stated that the party is working under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to gain the trust of everyone and take everyone forward. He also emphasized that everyone is welcome to join the party and contribute to the progress of the country.
