RPF Pune Receives 13 Enfield Bullet Motorcycles For Quick Response To Crimes

Pune, 17th April 2023: Indu Dubey, Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) of Central Railway Pune, today addressed a monthly crime meeting of Railway Protection Force (RPF) officers to discuss the recent cases of signal tampering and unauthorized alarm chain pulling.
She emphasized the need to control and detect such crimes and asked for suggestions on using technology to enhance passenger safety.
During the same meeting, Dubey handed over 13 new Enfield bullet motorcycles to the field units of RPF Pune. The motorcycles are expected to enable a swift response to various crimes, such as signal tampering, cable cutting, and passenger crimes, and ensure timely response in case of emergencies.
The railway division is also considering technology innovations to enhance passenger safety and security, which will be implemented in due course.
