Pune: “Modi’s Government is a Ghajini Government” – Uddhav Thackeray Takes Swipe at BJP in Sangvi Rally

Sangvi, 8th May 2024: For campaigning purposes of the Maval Lok Sabha candidate from Mahavikas Aghadi, Sanjog Waghere, a rally was organised today at the PWD ground in Sangvi, Pimpri Chinchwad. Former Chief Ministers Uddhav Thackeray and Prithviraj Chavan, sitting MP of Baramati Supriya Sule, AAP MP Sanjay Singh, and others attended the event.
Shiv Sena (UBT) Leader Uddhav Thackeray remarked, “The leaders in Delhi have two monkeys here. One has a beard and cannot utter my full name, while the other is Fadnavis, who speaks as if he is intoxicated. Sharad Pawar stated that small regional parties will merge with Congress, and opposition parties have begun targeting me. Is Shiv Sena a small party? I don’t need to change my father; if someone mentions your father’s name, nobody will even welcome them. They lack any substantial points.”
He continued, “PM Modi claims he’ll secure over 400 seats this time, but the public isn’t embracing you. They’re working to oust you. PM Modi is trembling with fear of defeat, resorting to religious chants. The situation is dire, forcing Modi to tour every nook and corner of Maharashtra. For ten years, he did nothing, and now Maharashtra has pushed him onto the streets. After 4th June, the new Prime Minister will undoubtedly be from the INDIA alliance.”
Thackeray added, “This isn’t Modi’s government; it’s a Ghajini government. They can’t remember what they said. The Election Bond scam is one of the world’s largest scams. The Central Government is employing people on a contractual basis, offering no job security. Hence, people are poised to terminate the Modi government’s contract. The regressive mindset that tried to obscure Tukaram’s legacy is now attempting to alter the constitution. Many industries were relocated from Maharashtra by the Centre. When the INDI Alliance government takes charge, we’ll restore Maharashtra’s lost glory twofold. The time has come for BJP to face the consequences. People will reject Shinde’s Shiv Sena.”
Thackeray concluded his speech by saying, “Farmers were heading to Delhi to assert their rights. Yet, the central government barred their entry. Now, all farmers should head to the polling stations and vote to overthrow this Modi government.”
Former Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan remarked, “We should make the right decision today; otherwise, there might not be elections in this country again. The constitution would be altered. This election is crucial to prevent such a scenario. It all started during the Congress era when we established companies like HA and Tata in Pimpri Chinchwad city, employing lakhs. However, Modi has made several erroneous decisions in the past decade. The economy has slowed down, and the country is burdened with massive debt. Had the BJP progressed at the rate of Manmohan Singh’s era, India would now be in third place, not fifth.
He further said, “This election revolves around five critical issues: inflation, unemployment, farmers’ concerns, corruption, and unethical politics. Modi supported the split of Shiv Sena in Maharashtra. Power is being transferred in Delhi. We must seize power, or else the constitution will be amended. Modi enacted three laws to retaliate against farmers. The Centre has prohibited the export of sugar, onions, and other commodities. Hence, the farmers, youth, and those suffering from inflation will oust Modi. There will be a power shift on June 4.”
Baramati MP Supriya Sule added, “Opponents will bribe voters. If you encounter such individuals, take them straight to the police station. Dirty politics occurred in the Baramati Lok Sabha constituency this time. With our experience, we must remain vigilant in Maval. Stay alert for the next 3 to 4 days. Rest assured, Waghere will accompany me to Delhi. Presently, the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation is notorious as the most corrupt Municipal Corporation.”
AAP’s Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh proclaimed, “Arvind Kejriwal was apprehended by the BJP. Amid such turmoil, every party in the INDI alliance stood resolutely together and cooperated. Modi and the BJP are party thieves. NCP’s watch was stolen. Shiv Sena’s bow and arrow were snatched. Modi’s guarantee is a guarantee of falsehoods. BJP has allied with those accused of corruption. If, by mistake, the BJP wins this election, India will be governed by people like Putin and Kim Jong. Hence, the INDIA Alliance must come to power. The people of Maval should elect Sanjog Waghere.”
