Pune: Mother Made Her 15-Year-Old Daughter Marry Her Lover; Both Arrested
Chandannagar, 12th November 2022: A woman from Pune made her 15-year-old daughter marry her lover. After this, the accused, an Army Jawan, raped the victim girl.
In connection with this incident, a case has been registered against the victim girl’s mother and her boyfriend.
The name of the accused is Sagar Jairam Datkhile (28), a native of Osmanabad. Both the accused have been arrested by the police. The incident is being further investigated.
According to the information given by the police, the woman had taken her daughter to her village in 2019. At that time, accused Sagar met her at a wedding there. After that, the accused Sagar used to come to her house in Vadgaonsheri many times in Pune. That acquaintance turned into love. The victim girl came to know about this relationship.
Meanwhile, the accused mother arranged the marriage of daughter with her lover. She had threatened the victim girl saying that she should marry Sagar or else the mother will kill herself. Due to this fear, the 15-year-old girl married the accused Sagar this year at a temple. The accused then raped her.
Regarding this incident, the victim girl informed her school friend about the entire abuse. After that, a woman from the same locality got information about this incident and this matter came to light. The concerned woman brought the victim girl to the Chandannagar police station.
