Pune: MoU between MIT ADT University and Thought for Food Foundation of America

Pune, 30th November 2021: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between MIT School of Food Technology, MIT Art, Design and Technology University and Thought for Food Foundation of America. It was hoped that this agreement would help to satisfy the hunger of the world’s population.

The MoU was signed by Dr. Anant Chakradev, Pro-Vice Chancellor, MIT ADT University and Christine Gould, CEO, Thought for Food Foundation (TFF).

At this time, Dr. Anant Chakradev said that global warming and subsequent climatic change showed an impact on agricultural production, if this is continued then the increasing population will have to face a shortage of food. Therefore, MIT ADT University has signed an MoU with the Thought for Food Foundation of America.

Christine Gould said that Thought for Food Foundation is working to create entrepreneurs in the food and agriculture sector around the world. Through this organization, it organizes competitions every year for innovative food entrepreneurs. This MoU will be important for the students of MIT ADT University. This organization works to create Agri-entrepreneurs in 175 countries. So far 60 entrepreneurs have been created with a fund of 200 million dollars.

At this MoU signing ceremony Dr. Mangesh Karad, Executive President and Vice Chancellor of MIT ADT University, Utsav Soni, Asia Manager, TFF, Ayaz Shaikh from Hungary, Caroline Steblin from Switzerland, Dr. Sunita Karad, Mr. Tejas Karad, Registrar Dr. Mahesh Chopde, Prof. Anjali Bhoite, Prof. Fayaj Pathan were present.
