Pune: PCMC Appeals People Who Have Returned From Abroad To Contact COVID Helpline To Deal With Omicron Threat

Pimpri, 30th November 2021: As the new coronavirus variant Omicron is increasing rapidly in Africa and European countries, the Central and State Governments have started taking precautionary measures and necessary steps in this regard.

 

A meeting of Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) officials was held today under the chairmanship of Municipal Commissioner Rajesh Patil to deal with the threat of Omicron.

 

PCMC has appealed to all the citizens who have come from abroad in the last 15 days to contact its Covid Helpline no. 8888006666 for their RT-PCR test. Positive patients will be treated in the Institutional Quarantine Room and those who have been identified will be instructed to stay in the Home Quarantine Room to help prevent the spread of the virus.
