Pune: Mumbai Suburban in Boys and Girls finals at Deccan Gymkhana Under 13 State basketball tournament
Pune, 13th May 2023 – Mumbai Suburban Boys and Girls teams entered the finals of the Under 13 Boys and Girls State Championships basketball tournament organized by Deccan Gymkhana Club in association with Maha Basketball Association and Pune Adhoc Committee and played at Deccan Gymkhana Club Basketball Courts.
In the boys semifinals Mumbai Suburban registered a 50-33 win over Mumbai city , in finals they will take on Nagpur District who came back from being 22-30 down at halftime to get the better of Hosts Pune winning 57-54 in a close semifinal
In the girls section Mumbai Suburban overcame a fighting Mumbai City team 41-35 to make the finals they will now take hosts Pune District in the finals the Pune Girls outplayed Satara 61-17.

Nagpur:57 (Dheer Agarwal 15, Om Raut 13) bt Pune 54 (Daksh Sharma 25, Samarth Sutar 8); Half Time: 22-30;
Mumbai Suburban 50 ( Sandhu Herchelle 18) bt Mumbai City 33 (Sachin Veer 10); Half time: 27-16;
Girls:
Mumbai Suburban: 41(Gauri Anigeri 9pts, Tanisha Bhandari 8pts) bt Mumbai City: 35(Ajita Nadar 9pts); Half Time: 18-15;
Pune: 61(Saloni Patil 11pts, Rajanya Sarkar 7pts, Anusha Sontakke 8pts) bt Satara: 17(Vanshika Malvika 4pts);Half Times:37-11.
