Pune-Mumbai Travel Made Easier And Cleaner With E-Shivai Buses
Pune, 1st February 2023: With the introduction of the new-look E-Shivai buses, commuters travelling between Pune and Mumbai will now have a more practical, silent, and environmentally responsible choice. These buses provide several advantages, including air conditioning and a quiet, clean journey.
The new routes to be introduced are Thane-Pune, Dadar-Pune, Borivali-Pune, Nashik-Pune (Shivajinagar), Aurangabad-Pune, and Kolhapur-Pune.
According to Ramakant Gaikwad, the divisional controller of MSRTC Pune, 150 electric buses will be added to the fleet over the next two months through the Union Government’s Fame-2 programme with Central Subsidy (Swargate). To distinguish them as e-buses, the buses will have a new look.
The fare will also be lower. However, the confirmed price is yet to be announced.
