Pune Municipal Corporation Cracks Down On Unauthorized Hotels In Shivaji Nagar Area
Pune, 7th September 2023: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has launched a renewed campaign to address the issue of unauthorized hotels operating within the city. PMC officials targeted two such establishments, Hotel Fountain and Bamboo House, situated in the Shivaji Nagar area.
The operation resulted in the reclamation of approximately 5,200 square feet of space previously occupied by these unauthorized hotels. PMC officials used specialized equipment during the operation, including a gas cutter and Bigari tools, to ensure full compliance with municipal regulations.
Key personnel involved in this operation included Executive Engineer Bipin Shinde, Deputy Engineer Sunil Kadam, and Branch Engineers Rahul Rasale and Sameer Gadai. Their collective efforts, coupled with the support of the local police force, played a crucial role in the successful execution of this operation.
