Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) Initiates Road Beautification Projects for Upcoming G20 Meetings

Pune, 23rd May 2023: In preparation for two upcoming G20 meetings scheduled to take place in June 12 to 14, the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has outlined plans for several beautification initiatives across the city.

The PMC’s civic administration has submitted a proposal to the PMC standing committee, seeking approval to implement decorative lighting installations on various bridges and flyovers throughout Pune.

Despite having previously conducted G20 beautification projects and obtaining subsequent approval from the standing committee, the PMC has opted to present the proposal once again for formal clearance.

Once the proposal receives the necessary approval from the PMC standing committee, the PMC will commence the implementation of the decorative lighting installations, contributing to the overall ambiance and grandeur of the city during the G20 meetings.
