Pune Municipal Corporation To Keep A ‘Watch’ On Its Employees
Pune, 19th June 2021: Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has installed a tracking system to keep an administrative watch on its employees, nearly 18,000 employees including officers and other staff.
A large number of employees work in the field. To keep track of them, this tracking system is being developed. The system will keep a watch on the employees whether while on field duty their site, work type and area will be tracked.
“The employees will be given a wristwatch that will track them. We will first conduct a pilot project and once it is successful, we will implement it”, informed municipal commissioner Vikram Kumar.
