Pune: Musical program at ‘Ashok Parva’ leaves audience spell-bound

Pune, 7th January 2023: It was an evening to remember for Punekars as the 50-year cinematic journey of Marathi superstar Ashok Saraf unfolded through a special musical program ‘Hridayi Vasant Phultana’ during ‘Ashok Parva’ on Saturday.

Organised by city-based Ravetkar Group and supported by Rajesh Damle’s Abhiyakti, ‘Ashok Parva’ is being organised to celebrate the life of Ashok Saraf, who turned 75-years old.

A special musical program, where songs picturised on Ashok Saraf, was held at Yashwantrao Chavan auditorium in Kothrud.

Ashok Saraf, Nivedita Saraf, Ajit Ravetkar, Manjushree Khardekar, Additional Commissioner of Police Rajendra Dahale and Rajesh Damle were present on the occasion.

Singers Yogita Godbole Pathak, Jitendra Abhyankar, Radhika Atre, Jitendra Bhuruk and Rahul Joshi presented the songs, which were applauded by the capacity audience.

The program, anchored by Vijay Patwardhan, began with Jitendra Abhyankar presenting the ‘Tuch Maybaap Bandhu’ song from famous movie ‘Ek Daav Bhutacha’.

Yogita Godbole Pathak then mesimarised the audience by reciting ‘Bhale Bure Te Ghadun Gele’ from the film ‘Tuchya Vachun Karmena’.

Songs like ‘Jeevan Uska Naam Hei Pyare’, ‘Kunya Gavacha Ala Pakharu’ (Sushila), ‘Raam Dulahi Maike Gayi’ (Meri Biwi Ki Shaadi), ‘Mangala Ga Mangala’ (Gondhalat Gondhal), “Navi Navi Navari’ (Gulchaadi), ‘Nishana Tula Dislana’ (Navri Mile Navryala), Sang Kamini (Didh Shahane), Priyatamma (Dhumdhadaka) among others won the hearts of audience.

The program ended with ‘Hridayi Vasant Phultana’ (Ashihi Banava Banavi)

The singers were accompanied by Mandar Dev, Mihir Bhadkamkar, Vishal Thelkar, Kedar More, Abhijit Bhale and Nitin Shinde.
