Pune: NCP Corporator Subhash Jagtap Booked For Misbehaving With Female Staff At Food Distribution Office

Pune, 3rd June 2022: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) corporator Subhash Jagtap has been booked for allegedly arguing with a female inspector in the Food Distribution Office and obstructing government work. The complaint also alleges molestation.

A 31-year-old supply inspector from the food distribution office has lodged a complaint with the Samarth police station. Accordingly, a case of an offence of molestation as well as obstruction in the government work has been registered under this section.

According to the information given by the police, Subhash Jagtap is a NCP corporator in Taljai colony. Jagtap had come to the food distribution office of the old Zilla Parishad office with the ration card of the citizens of his ward.

There the supply inspector woman officer was talking to colleagues in the office. Jagtap shouted at the office. He got into an argument with a female officer, insulted her and threatened to fire her. Jagtap insulted her in front of her office mates. The complaint also alleges that he was sexually assaulted by touching her. Assistant Inspector Jadhav is investigating the case further.
