Shivajinagar, 7th November 2022: Maharashtra State Agriculture Minister Abdul Sattar criticized MP Supriya Sule using abusive language. Against this, on behalf of the Pune City Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), a protest was held against Sattar at Rani Laxmibai Statue, Jangli Maharaj Road.

At this time, it was demanded that the Agriculture Minister should apologize personally to Supriya Sule and that Chief Minister Eknath Shinde should dismiss the minister who made insulting statements about women.

NCP’s Pune City President Prashant Jagtap said, “People who have no respect for women are running Maharashtra today and it is a shame for all of us. A thread of the political culture of the state of Maharashtra has been preserved for many years between the opposition party and the ruling party and for many years, the atmosphere of harmony has been preserved by going beyond politics.”

“In this case, the statement made by the minister Abdul Sattar, about the leader of the NCP, MP Supriya Sule, is very indecent and uncivilized. We strongly condemn this. The state government should expel Abdul Sattar immediately or face the wrath of the NCP. NCP office-bearers will ensure that the environment of Maharashtra is not disturbed by making absurd statements like Abdul Sattar,” Jagtap added further.

NCP leaders MLA Sunil Tingre, Ankush Kakade, Pradeep Gaikwad, Vishal Tambe, Pradeep Deshmukh, Vaishali Nagwade, Mrunalini Vani, Kishore Kamble, Vikram Jadhav, Appa Shinde, Rupali Patil and other office bearers and activists were present on the occasion.
